We got up late as we only had 40km to
do, ate a quick breakfast and pedalled the 20km to the bike shop in
under an hour!
The guys there spoke no English (I
thought almost all young-generation spoke English these days?) but
were super friendly and helpful. Charlie was the guy's name and he
knew exactly what I needed, a 36 spoke wheel (unusual number of
spokes, used for heavy duty MTB and touring wheels) and could get one
ordered up for me, plus, they could build the wheel. Awesome. Also,
they recommended the same wheel that I found online and liked, so
happy days.
I left my details and he would contact
me as soon as the wheel arrived.
We set off again through Agen to find
the campsite on the other side. The campsite was great, 15 Euro a
night with WiFi and even a 3.8m deep swimming pool. We were going to
have a few days off!
